Founder's Story:
Daniel Dines was born in January 1972 in a small village in Romania. His father was an engineer and his mother a teacher. He learned to program self-taught after receiving a C++ book as a gift from his girlfriend. He worked for Microsoft in Seattle from 2000 to 2005, before returning to Romania to start his own company.
In 2005, Dines founded DeskOver, a software outsourcing company, in a small apartment in Bucharest. For nearly a decade, the company bootstrapped while searching for product-market fit. The turning point came in 2012-2014 when Dines observed Blue Prism (inventors of the term RPA) using his software to automate data entry. This inspired the pivot to RPA.
